So, yeah, I had a friend convince me to go to FurCon in San Jose last weekend. (What? You didn't see me there? I saw -you-. And you never even said hi! *sniff*) While toodling around the dealer's den looking at all the stuff I wanted, I stopped by the FurPlanet tables to say hi to my friend  graveyardgreg, who promptly signed my copy of his book Welcome to Cappuccinos and then thrust an index card in my hand and told me to draw something, because I've been a lazy slacker despite his best efforts.

So there I was, index card in hand, flummoxed. Well, damn. I -had- to draw something now, right? Otherwise he might actually physically hunt me down and get someone larger than him to beat me up. He knows people, I'm sure. After asking as to -what- I should draw, he suggested larry, his soccer playing gryphon! So, one trip to the internets later (I don't know much about soccer, seeing as the very mention of sports makes me break out in hives *itch, itch*), I had a passable uniform and a soocer ball! Did you know those things are black -and- white? Crazy!

Of course, I felt bad leaving it as just a sketch, so told Greg that if he sent a copy to me, I'd be more than happy to make it look pretty. So... enjoy!
