Man but I'd love to play around with glass. Just one of those things you gotta have some serious setup for. Too bad.

Well, when you want to heat something to that degree. I've run some pretty hot fires in my day and only managed to make glass slump a bit.

hmm well the place i go to has the glass pre melted in a big container that burns when geting the glass. then there is the glory hole that keeps the glass from shattering and keeps it moving

Well exactly, still not something one can readily build one's self. I do intend to build a miniature tin forge though. Very low temperature (250C will do fine) and I'll be doing wee small things.

Still out of my reach. What I'd really like is something like that done with streaks of light red, green, blue, and yellow, with some nice bubbles blown inside. Mmmm! Yummy eye-candy!
