Written back in the day, one of my dear little departed dog, Lexington of Hunter's Ben. Named after a combination of me and my brother's name, he's old so his went first :I. R.I.P. little girl, god knows how much I've missed you...
Poem:
When I die and pass away
Take my body all the way
Up a hill and to the sky
So that my soul may fly
My soul will fly faster than any car
Flying around and around the stars
My soul will fly around the planets and such
And my soul will thank you very much
My soul soon realized it is the only
And it quickly grows so very lonely
It flies back down to the place of my birth
But for many years, he is the first
My soul searched through the hallways
Always abandoned, always, always…
It looks in the rooms but to no avail
His search for someone has utterly failed
Then my soul’s ghostly ears hear a bark
It flies faster than a swimming carp
Down the halls and out the doors
Looking for someone, anyone more
My soul then falls to his knees
As my dog Lexi was obviously pleased
