Reduction Woodcut
Just thought I might as well scan this since I'm in the middle of uploading some art into a new gallery ( no worries, I'll stay active here! ) that I'll link later.
This was one of my reduction woodcut prints done in my last semester of school. Sadly, it's also when I learned that I loved printmaking a lot more than graphic design! This is the best copy I have out of the 5 copies I have. The rest have slight off-registrations of a mm or two. If you're interested in buying one, send me a note!

WOAH! this is seriously an amazing reduction! i am an utter failure with reduction printing (however, i am going to attempt one on a 2x3 foot piece of wood these next few weekends)

Thanks! We had a makeshift registration rig to help keep things lined up. Wasn't exact but it sure was close enough and better than eyeballing it. Good luck with your reduction print! They're tricky bastards!
And oh man, never seen that guy. I've never got to many well known printmakers' work, just university print exchanges in my class. Man, that guy's stuck is sick! Using his car to make a print, that's awesome.
