I've got my own preferences for post-humanity, but I wouldn't mind this alternative.

It's rather ambitious, in my writing I've explored a numerous number of alternatives, and I eventually came to the conclusion that machines won't be different from their human counterparts in the future, for even if there's a cyborg with an entirely mechanical body, the natural desire to grow and change and expand may remain in some, rather than just staying in a set mechanical frame, and just changing parts won't do it. Eventually machines will become closer and closer to biological and soon they will be capable of mimicking humans in their own way, advanced, self-aware, growing machines that grow just like any other person would, and soon humans would become the same in order to not be outdone by their mechanical counterparts.
After all, I believe, though it would have to be under very special circumstances to be tapped into, all beings have infinite potential for growth. Growth in power, consciousness, spirit, body, unlimited numbers of forms, the future of all beings is not limited to just a single fate.

And so it's up to the individual to decide what they would want to become, be it machine, superhuman, or something else entirely. I would not mind a mechanical body, but I would undoubtedly be very picky about it, for I am constantly on the quest for growth in any form. It would have to be a body of unlimited potential.

That's just how I see it.

But what will be do about sex?

Do these robots come with USB ports or are they wireless?

Nrgh. Trans-humanism. I've always found it an uncomfortable subject. My philosophy is that the human body is the epitome of our selves. It reflects everything about us, because it is us. Discarding it so... thoughtlessly, especially with a mega-corporation thrown in the mix, just causes me to freak out.

Not gonna lie, this design and concept is super cool if you ignore the whole "Eliminating the human race by turning them into robots" background idea which is terrifying.

Honestly, being an immortal robot would be pretty dope, having laser gun hands would be so cool.
