This is a bad portrait, I am fully aware of that, but that is not the purpose of this photograph.

I am posting this photograph because I think it shows fairly well just what I love about black fur, and how it reflects the sunlight in a way that I absolutely adore. I just love the various shades of black and dark brown that becomes visible as the sun reflects in the fur. Of course it looks better for real, but at least this photograph manages to capture some of it.
