A cartoon that aired in the eighties was "The Adventures of Teddy Ruxpin".
A series of 65 episodes, full of adventure, action and especially the value of friendship!Here in this picture, Teddy want to have another adventure, and maybe we can accompany him to enjoy one of his incredible adventures!
Here is a brief summary of what was the television series:
The Adventures of Teddy Ruxpin follows young Teddy Ruxpin as he leaves his home on the island of Rillonia with his best friend Grubby to follow an ancient map which leads him to find a collection of crystals on the mainland of Grundo. With the help of his new friend Newton Gimmick, Teddy and Grubby discover the magical powers of what turns out to be an ancestral treasure as well as an organization with ambitions to use it for evil known as M.A.V.O. (short for Monsters and Villains Organization). Along the way, Teddy learns the long-lost history of his species and clues to the location of his missing father.

Yes, it was quite an evening. We spoke for about an hour in 2006.
He wanted to make use of the fan base to help boost marketing for the new version.
Few cartoons have such a place in my heart as TAoTR, I've even based my online persona around it as a fan character.

I just started re-watching this series on youtube. Damn brings back memories of when I was 3-4 and watching it on morning TV at my grandparents. When I first watched Teddy Ruxpin, it was the Spanish version syndicated on Univision. XD This show inspired me to explore and learn about the world...
So later hearing the English original felt odd to me since I had first seen it in Spanish.
I wonder if the DVD set includes the Spanish voice acting version...would be fun to relive for nostalgia sake. :3
