USS Steelscale - Combadge Design V2
As Posted back in 2008, I made a Combadge design for my Starship and its crew, now in 2012 I feel a small redesign is required as some mistakes were made and some things just needed to be updated so here's a prettymuch Copy-Paste of the text from the old Design Page:
I decided to design my own style of commbadge to go with the whole futuristic look of the ship (No picture of that yet)
Now the scanner not only ate some of the colors but also made some of the text unreadable (That combined with my horrible handwriting).
So ill explain in this comment bar.
First Badge (Front)
-Division Color
-Rank
Second Badge (Back)
-Bio Magnetic Attach Strip
Legenda on the right:
-Red: Command/Flight Control
-Yellow: Tactical/Security/Ops
-Teal: Medical/Science
-Purple: Unlisted Crew (Now being reffered to as Civilian)
Rank legenda on the left:
-Fleet Admiral
-Admiral
-Vice Admiral
-Rear Admiral
-Commodore
-Captain
-Commander
-Lieutenant Commander
-Lieutenant
-Lieutenant Junior Grade
-Ensign
-Crewman
Middle Commbadge (Opened front)
-Subspace tranciever (Subspace contact)
-Dermal sensor (Body scanner)
-RF tranciever (Radiofrequency tranciever)
-Control circuit (3) (Control )
-Transporter buffer (Little buffer for storing items like weapons or medical equipment)
-Power cell (4)
-Universal translater circuit (6) (Translates alien and foreign languages to english and translates anything i say back to the alien or foreign languages)
-Casing
Designed Specifically for the species aboard the U.S.S. Steelscale
(hence the biomagnetic attach strip for creatures that wear no clothing)
