I made a dinovolver out of a plastic compact and Crayola Model Magic clay.
In the 80's cartoon Dinosaucers, the dinovolver was a device the heroes (evolved alien dinosaurs) used to physically de-evolve into forms of their prehistoric ancestors while still retaining their full intelligence.
The outside of the dinovolver bears the Dinosaucers symbol. (Mine is a little off model. I didn't have a ref in front of me).
I may also make a Tyranno dinovolver, because the poor villain group was never able to get their claws on the technology in the series.
Obviously, I did not make the dinosaur toys. I bought them at Walmart for a dollar each.
(Also included is my pic of the female Dinosaucer, Teryx, to illustrate how a dinovolver looks on a Dinosaucer. Ironically, she never dinovolved in the series.)
Here's the regular pic of her:

I'm 34, but I actually very rarely watched G.I. Joe as a kid. But if you like 1980s cartoons, you might like Dinosaucers. It's kind of cheesy, but the character designs are really cool :). I did a series of screenshot collages from the series. They're listed in this journal: http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/6791001/
