I haven't come up with a name for this character so if someone has a (not stupid or weird) suggestion that would be cool.
Completion time was around two-three weeks, and it's been changed a few times since I finished it December 22nd. I meant to get a picture of this guy before then but I didn't like the original padding on it. I also went for more natural colors...despite them not being natural for a kangaroo.
If you're curious as to why there is a pouch on a male kangaroo, it's for convenience sake. Having immediate access to my car keys/netbook/art supplies is a nice thing.
I'll probably be taking this to "Furry Fiesta" in late February, but I will most likely only be around my group of friends that are coming too. I'll need one of those badge things for it as well.
Probably will draw more autis- I mean beautiful people after this.

Really nice suit. Not too realistic not too cartooney. This is actually one of the best roo suits i've seen. Chase sounds like a great name, Blisk! I love this, excellent work! The coloring, the thighs, and the face are especially well done.
Wish I was able to go to furry fiesta to see it in person :/ Hope you have lots of fun there!

Actually, even tho i'm not Christian, I always thought this song http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-fGuxoYB4Fo by The Choir is a great song and one of my favorite uses of metaphor in a song. http://www.lyricstime.com/the-choir.....oo-lyrics.html Chasing the kangaroo can be used as a great metaphor for soul searching, religious OR spiritual. Heck, we furries use our fursonas as a way of discovering different things about ourselves. We all chase the kangaroo ^_^
That's an interesting way to look at it, but I don't have anything like a fursona. I just thought the name worked with the character.
Anyway, thanks for your feedback on the completed costume. It went through a few revisions as there aren't a whole lot of other kangaroo costumes I could use as a reference.
