Incredible! The wig and mane are seamless, the body paint is well applied and blended with nice highlights and shading. Only improvement I can see would be to keep the forehead color consistent with the face, the contrast is a little much. The shield and leather work is nice and what I can see of the hilt is impressive too. Love the beard too, it usually looks more authentic if the paint is applied over beards and body hair, gives it that softness that fur should have, rather than the clean lines of animation smooth skin affords.
Most of all your physique really sells the ensemble, I've seen too many people try to pull something like that off who were way out of shape. You ARE that character, props!

I wish... I just took the photo. The person in the photo is here: http://www.furaffinity.net/user/lyonlover/
Nice! My roommate shoots with a Nikon D90, you should check out his work sometime:

Hehe, thanks for the props man, I really appreciate it! I try to keep as authentic of a look as possible, as all my armors (except the sword, but only because of con rules) are real, official licensed metal pieces. I try to pay attention to detail, cuz I feel like that's where things really shine through.
As for the face paint, i try to do the best I can, but it's a completely different paint. The body paint is an air-brush body ink, and the face paint is a water-based color. I have to do this because I can't use the alcohol stuff around my face, but I need the durability of it for the body. This year I turned out a little bit more orange than normal because I was using the last of my paints, too, which probably contributes to the difference, but I try to do the best I can

It shows! I looked through the rest of your gallery and you've done some pretty consistent work over several cons and events, good job!
I saw on your page that you do some modeling on the side, there is actually some money to be made in animal performance art if you've a mind to do it. There is one performer in particular that's taken the idea and run with it, I'm sure you're familiar with his work. Humanimal, I believe he goes by?

Yes, I am. We both started doing it at roughly the same time, though he's obviously turned it into more of a professional thing, where I've kind of just kept my thing as a cosplay/costume thing. I'm certainly not opposed to pursuing options like that, but unfortunately, I live in a pretty small market and wouldn't even know where to begin trying to get something like that off the ground over here!
