I'm torn between the 2012 1LT and the 2LT. Thing is with 2 that really seals the deal is the heated leather seats and 9 speaker audio system included, but the 37k price tag is a bit concerning. The 1LT is a bit cheaper, and I can still throw in the audio system for about 500-700, but the leather just sounds sexy in a bucket seat. D:
I went with the LT1, I've sat in an SS with the 9 speaker system and it didn't impress me too much, and the after market leather seating you can get customized to your car is cheaper. I almost went with the LT2 till I saw that the leather seats were just a seat cover. -.- I am considering trading mine in and getting a 2012, I'd like to get one with the halo lighting and a sunroof =P
Hum, I see. o.o
And.. just a seat cover? yeesh. I figure for the extra price you'd at least get full leather seats. Bleh. LT1 it is, then. I'll throw in the speaker system seperate. :P
The 2013 models are probably going to be out by the time I get enough money for a down payment on one, so I'm expecting a price drop on the 2012 models anyhoo.

Yeah that's why I waited till October to get mine, 2012s were coming out and I got mine for a lot lest, ended up only paying around 31k after taxes and everything. Everyone told me I needed to get a custom license plate for it, still considering it, maybe something like "In Debt" ;P
Not too bad, I make 13 an hour so you can do it =3. Before the 2012 the average was around 29-33k before they add the tax, title and other lovely ways to rip you off. If you like music try to see how much they will add a personal device interface module to the car if it doesn't have one already, they are awesome and link your ipod or Zune right up to your car's interface. Blue tooth is a nice option but pretty much everything nice to add to it, you can buy from websites and install at the dealership for a lot cheaper then just buying the car with it in there. I would recommend going to the Chevy website, doing the Build-Your-Own Camaro and just look at all the options and see just what you want and how much it will cost.
13, hm? That's pretty good to know, in that case. :3
I don't use an Ipod anymore, but I have a *lot* of CDs that I've burned off. :p
And yuh, I've used the Chev website before, and I've got a pretty good idea of what to expect. I was also told going out of town to buy a Camaro is also a good idea. More diversity, cheaper (Usually.) and you don't have to worry about shipping fees if you decide to get it shipped to town. (Where I live is a really remote location, so taxes on shipping is usually much higher.)

But, then again, there is the option of a Mustang. While I absolutely love the design of the Camaro these days (Certainly better than generation 3, eww.), fuck me silly, I do like Mustangs. They're a bit cheaper, but guh. @.@
I hate loving two things that are both expensive.

Plus the Camaro is based on a Holden platform and thus has some good chassis enginering going on - unlike the Mustang's live rear axle.
I still don't understand why Ford don't just bite the bullet and base the next Mustang off of the Aussy market Falcon - it's competitive with the Commodore the Camaro is based on handling wise and would let them reduce the costs of having two separate rear wheel drive platforms of roughly the same size. I guess they still feel iffy about it after the second gen Probe fiasco and the Mazda 323 based Capri flop?
