My new OC, Audrey :3 <3 Named for my little sister! :D

Audrey slinks through the snow; her slender figure hardly visible in the flurry of white. Clumps of ice cling to her thick, water resistant pelt, and she shakes her head angrily, watching with some satisfaction as the needle sharp shards fall from her fur and pierce the frosty soil. A bird shrieks in the distance; it’s lonesome call bounds off the nearby trees and once again reaches Audrey’s perked, sensitive ears.

The snow begins to fall faster, coating the ground until not a spot of soil or patch of brittle grass could be seen. Audrey begins to move faster, her numb paws flying over the earth. Her tail whips out like a banner, sending a chill up her spine as the biting wind trickles through the gaps of her tail fluff. Dusk couldn’t be far off, but there was no way of knowing; the sky had stayed the same bleak blue-grey for days, morning and night. The Shepard looked up as she raced onward, but saw only the downy flakes as they spiraled closer from the dark clouds above.

Suddenly, she felt the study dirt below her paws shift into something more fragile, temporary. A small gasp of surprise escapes her lips, the fur pricking along the back of her neck. She shows no fear, as always, but a flicker of unease erupts inside her. Lifting her nose, Audrey sniffed, breathing past the damp scent of decay, faint against the freshness of the snow, and selecting a memory from the dark cobwebs of the back if her mind, one that surges forward at the sight of her surroundings.

The memory is of a warm summer day; the flowers dotting the river bank are in full bloom, small splashes of color against a wall of mud. The water is crisp and cold, dragging on Audrey’s pelt, holding her down and making her movements sluggish. A sparrow flirts from an old tree that grasps the bank with thick roots. The bird flitters upward, before diving down and swooping low over the water. Her puppy paws are huge and clumsy; causing her to trip over herself in her urge to catch up…

Jolting back to reality, Audrey blinks twice, confused. Slowly, it dawns on her. Stepping forward, ignoring the forbidding creak the ground makes, her eyes dart around
In the distance, she can see the see the bare arms of a large overhanging tree, dangerously close to the ice pond.

Where is this place? And who.. Who was I looking for?

Personality: Audrey is a sweet natured dog, who thinks about others more then herself. Around others, she's easily the most dominant. Very headstrong and bold, she seems to have no problem putting her younger siblings, as well as others, in their places. She can come out as bossy, but she always means well. Clever too, and she seems to enjoy getting into places she shouldn't be. She is very daring, to a point some of her actins can get stupid. She is easily offended and hurt, although she never shows it on the outside. Audrey is very social; she loves meeting new people and does very poorly on her own. She can also be very headstrong and stubborn, and doesn’t listen to many. She is loves for her hyper, spazzy, and somewhat flirtatious attitude.
