You see it all the time on furry websites, chat clients and Second Life. Perfectly sculpted bodies, thin-but-muscular or slim-yet-curvy builds, impossible body types. That NONE of us have in real life. If we do, we're in the minority.
So I challenge you, FA. Take a photo of yourself, fully clothed or in your skivvies. Trace your body type and marks exactly, blemishes, scars and all. Then apply your character to the form. Let's see what the REAL face of FA is.
I dont have a fursona or anything so I just made myself into a kitty, because me and many other people agree that If i was anything..i'd be a cat. Notice i made myself look somwwhat like Warrick too. Tot gave me his ears xD
but yea couldn't come up with a clever color design that i really liked..so may develop the charactrer more later...who knows//
AND WHY IS IT THAT I TRACED MY OWN BODY AND THE ANATOMY STILL LOOKS OFF TO ME *rage rage

Thank you* i'd like to say I try to keep it in good shape, but really I'm just 20 and dont eat much. And Quite honestly I think this is a wonderful idea, because every woman is different and every woman is beautiful.
we've all got a particular idea in our head of what beauty is and that needs to be changed. :)

Nicely done!
Like some other said, it's probably the head that makes you think the anatomy looks a bit off.
Coincidentally, I sort of did one of these just the other day too.
Mine wasn't traced, merely referenced from a photo of myself. But still, I think I captured a fair likeness of my body's shape.
Like you, I don't really have a proper fursona, and for this one I just went with generic horse features since that's what I felt like drawing that day.
Here it is if you're interested: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/7205053

Some of my female committed characters I've referenced photos of myself or use photos onthe net to help with anatomy, this was the first time I've straight up traced before, I was kind of weird to put an animal head where one shouldn't be lol.
I'm more for tasteful artistic nudes if anything, but you did a very good job on the anatomy! And he horse head too. Horses are very difficult for me lol

in after everybody else: I am, however, almost missing Warrick-style horns.
meanwhile, I wouldn't worry too much about head size. I think the head is a bit too high, which often comes from animals holding their head noseridge-downward while we humans hold it horizontal sotosay. and people don't realize the facial structure needs altering and relocating when applied to a human skull.
not that I am THAT good with it, I often fail myself. :) I usually put an animal's head onto a human torso instead of trying to paste the animal face to a human head. somehow, that never seems to work for me.

I honestly didn't care too much xD and yea, I was debating putting warrick horns on my head, but EH
And I just didn't want to spent a tonof time on this so I just threw something together, lol. Thought I do basically what you do. If you just go with the face it seems the whole thing looks off. Hence this picture. But I literally traced my own body, which makes things a bit difficult haha
