i was colouring this in the dark, hence why there's tints of greeny blue in the sky. i grabbed what i thought was blue out of my marker bag, but surprise! it was green.

yeah the hells angels book is a good one. he seems so tame compared to them.
and the movie is good, it's terry gilliam (baron munchausen, time bandits, brazil, monty python) and depp. depp spent i think it was a month? living with hunter s. thompson in preperation for the film. his wardrobe and even some of the cars they use were hunter's actual cars. depp's head is shaved in the film - apparently thompson himself shaved it, in his kitchen.

i think it's too narrow of a viewpoint. yes, writers have to write. but the true goal here is that human beings have to pass on feelings and information after they're dead.
for a writer, that's writing. for a programmer, that's coding. for some people, it's just raising a kid or voting a certain ticket. the fact that some people play at writing without actually doing any is just their latent desire to ACCOMPLISH something before they die.
but the ones who never write are probably young, stupid, and lack the actual motivation to complete a project. so it's not just wannabe writers. it's wannabe humans.
