More speedpainting time, yay. Not too happy with how it turned out. Yuck It was kinda experimental, though, trying a couple new techniques, and trying to blend cartoon/anime with the minimalist painting style I'm developing. Why do the funny ones always wind up with way poorer quality art? Oh, well, for the time spent on it, about 45 minutes, it's not that horrendous. Kinda. Sorta. Maybe. Bleh.
The main problem is I rushed through the face and mane, because I was getting bored.
UPDATE YAAAY: Decided to take 5 minutes and fix up the face and mane a bit. It's at least now not, like... aggressively bad. Make sure you press F5!
Soooo, anyway, these "ponies rocking out" pics are pretty trendy, too. Hell, I did one with Derpy already. So, just to keep from being a hipsterrrrrrr, I had to add in a weapons-grade pun. Seriously, puns this bad are banned under all of the Geneva Conventions and Hague Accords.
Okay, I actually had that pun rattling around in my head for awhile now, and haven't drawn this until now because... just because.
Also, god, the 80's were horrible.
