This is a commission from  purplepardus showing Cacus with Phonenix wings, I can't get that idea out of my head so I'm sticking with it. I've come up with a little back story for it.

Cacus Vulcanus was conceived in the depths of hell when Cerberus, the most terrible of the hellounds, captured and raped a Phoneix (a creature of pure fire the embodyment freedom ).
being impregnated forced her to take a mortal form and when the Phoneix gave birth to her child her frail mortal body burned away leaving Cacus an orphan, damned by his very creation but with the fire of the Phoenix and the flames of hell burning through his viens.
