It was late at night ... but little Tommy was very thirsty. And worst of all ... it was very dark in the house!
Tommy:"I'm thirsty ... and it's too late to call Dad! I have to do this all by myself!"
So Tommy, decided to go alone, to get a glass of water! He took his flashlight and headed to the kitchen!
Tommy:"I'm in the kitchen! Now all I have to do is touch the light switch and mission accomplished!"
When Tommy turned on the light in the kitchen, he shouted "VICTORY!!"
Father Bear:"Tommy? What is going on here?"
Tommy:"Forgive me, Dad ... I was thirsty and I just came alone,all by my self, into the kitchen to get a glass of water!"
Father Bear:" Heee, heee! That's okay, my son.Since I'm here ... want some hot chocolate?"
Tommy:"Yay!!!Thanks Daddy!"
It seems to be my friends, that Tommy has passed one of their greatest fears ... fear of the dark!Next time...he will do it again and alone? Maybe...but with the light turn on!

I'm glad I wasn't afraid of the dark as a kid. In fact,I LOVE the night!

When I sleep,I like total darkness!
The noises at night you would hear! Neat! Even that car with the broken muffler,that seems to go on forever! (Every place I lived in was near a major HiWay. So you hear cars and trucks constantly)

Y yo lo quiero muchísimo, Fred. Cuando estoy trabajando, viene y se acuesta sobre mis pies y me abraza los tobillos, en la cama se acuesta en mi pecho, eso sí tiene el defecto de que papel que vea lo destroza. Me toca tener dobujos, impresos, y todo eso casi que escondido....
Por otro lado, el señor del que te hablé l otro día, el zapatero tiene muy bien cuidada a la gatita ciega, a Perlita ... y todo el mundo la quiere.

Héhé remind me of my youth... I remember when I went to get a glass of water I was barefoot... So.... while i was going to get my glass I hit the chair... with my big toe.... ouch... yup woke up the whole house because I was crying and I didn't miss myself... my toe was quite painfull for almost one week... Cute li'l comic strip Freddy.... Really nice to see these li'l slice of life
the dark is scary when you are young.. i was afraid of it too when i was a cub.. but got over it, cause in my childhood i ended up spending alot of time out in the dark hiding!.....
but now!.. i love the dark!!!......
but i admit sometimes it still freaks me out, but only sometimes... sometimes me mind plays tricks on me in the dark and i think i see things that ar not there... but i think everyone does that from time to time..
