I decided that I really need to rework how my characters look so I'm gonna be playing with some designs. Here's an updated Pepper Pie, the mutant alligator single mother.
being a mutant reptile probably saves hundreds on bras.

Thanks! I'm trying to simplify my characters while keeping them really distinct. cluttered design is a problem i have :C
And he still is a 'whore-killer' so to speak, but a reformed one. After escaping with Pepper and her mother the 'this is my wife and child and we are very happy and I am a normal man with a normal life' delusion took the place of the 'I am god of the alligators reborn into human flesh and all you shiftless women who refuse to do my bidding will pay for it in blood' delusion.
Dude has a lot of problems.
He's pretty much a locational chameleon. Where he is determines what part his mind will decide he plays there, and it's always a big starring role. When he was a child he pretty much lived in a religious hippie cult and was CONVINCED he was the chosen one for said cult. He managed to fracture the sect in that entire area just through the sheer power of BELIEF he had for his version of the religion. He was only 8, and he only did it because he found the real chosen one and his mind couldn't handle it.
There were at least two other scenarios like this before he even started working at the park where Pepper's mother lived. He'll move to a new place, his entire personality with abruptly shift which will make him some way or another cherished and beloved by all, something will come along and mess with the delusion big time, and he begins to get emotionally or physically violent and pretty much self destructs his situation.
He doesn't really know this is happening. Every time he moves to a new scene his mind carefully edits his past to be the most palpable version for his new life. He doesn't lie to people about where he's been (he is very against lying, it's one of the only constants in his personality) but his terrifyingly meticulous repression makes it so that it's very rare for him to slip up and tell someone something they don't want to hear about him. At present he is a barber because he is THE BEST DAD and since his lovely daughter that he wholeheartedly believes is a product of himself and an alligator can not grow hair properly he must make wigs for her which has also become a lucrative business for him.
He's a good dude right now and he's been on the straight and narrow for 32 years (probably because this delusion has been so simple, be a good father and provide for his family) but he's pretty much a human time-bomb of despair. If he does self destruct this time it will probably kill him.
