So, you are implying his childhood was messed up because he didn't happen to play two games that came out in the early 90's and saying his happiness is an illusion because he didn't derive it from the same sources as you (which paradoxically seem to be of the virtual kind, so not real life but an illusion itself)?

Maybe you should take a moment and think about what "illusion" means to you and what happiness is. Maybe you should also think about what defines if a childhood was messed up or not (pro-tip, lacking video games in your childhood does not mean it was messed up, basing your perception of happiness on the joy brought to you by video games on the other hand is kinda messed up imo)
