My excitement for him being playable were spoiled by the fact that he's lightweight.

I've actually been doing pretty good with him! Being Featherweight isn't as bad as in some of the previous games, like you don;'t automatically spin out if you bump into Bowser or something. I've been using him pretty much exclusively.

I was using him for a bit after I unlocked him. Then I started to wonder why I was only getting 2 stars all of a sudden. I...was under the impression character choice didn't matter. Double Dash, DS, and Wii all weened me into driving heavy, so it's hard for me to get back into it.
