i still cant figure out Ahlmet's problem, you alluded to it so i'm guessing his abilities were being researched like drake was at the beginning of the story. did he get tired of the constant poking and prodding (i know how scientists can be) and just leave? and if so why is he in hiding in the U.S.? does the Egyptian government still want him?
