Mostly posting this very old sketch because this pic reminded me this is far from the first time I've associated giant robots with parrots.

Meet Rolito, whose name is a blatant misspelling of "Lorito", "Little parrot" in Spanish. He was another "sidekick" type character that ended up getting a bit more work done on them than their owner (moreso since his owner is a human). The doodle in the bottom isn't just a gag; Rolito is the pilot of the Mobile Armor "Arcoflecha" (Bow and Arrow, which is also what his mech turns into) - in other words, he's technically a fan character for the anime Mobile Fighter G Gundam. Once I find the drawing I did of said mecha, I'll share.

...no I have no idea why I like giant robot parrots. It just happened.
