This dude I doodled at work today and I instantly fell in love with him.
He's 1/2 vampire bat and 1/2 dingo. He's completely blind and therefore, coupled with his bat-ness, he's got extraordinary hearing. He can navigate with echo location, however he can't form images with the echo location. The dog tags on his wrists help him create sound whenever he needs it to see.
He's got slightly sensitive smell, but most of his sense is diverted to his hearing. For being completely blind, he's actually pretty cocky, but really quiet. When his blindfold is removed, he becomes extremely shy and self conscious, and very polite.
The red on his body isn't actually blood, but markings under his eyes and on his fingertips, giving the illusion that he's clawed his own eyes out. When the blindfold is removed, his left eye is in fact missing completely, and his right eye is whited out.
His ears are like a bat's and he's got pointed fangs. He's mostly nocturnal, but by choice, not by necessity. Even without sight, the bright light of day and hustle & bustle of the city gives him headaches.
