Oh my so true! That, of course, is because when we pumas hug deer, we're saying we love deer for dinner!

But we have to eat....

Frankly, though, I've never hunted my own food, and neither have my parents. The store's too conveient.

I've thought about doing it once, at least; the whole process, from kill to clean to freezer to plate. Even just a rabbit. The purpose being to gain a greater connection, or appreciation, or respect, or something, to those who provide the food I'm eating (the non-human animals I mean).
