Looks like a great start! I think the only problem with the hips is more with her legs: the way they skew to the left (our left) makes her seem off balance, maybe? If the hips are meant to be at a "jaunty" angle, then perhaps try making one side of the hip start higher up, and the leg opposite that hip planted further from the body, to balance her. I'm awful (awful!) at explaining things, so if you accept redlines I could post one XD

I kind of get what you're saying I think! But if you'd be kind enough to do a redline, I'd love you forever!

Your style might call for more or less padding on the hips, whichever you deem appropriate, but it shows the general idea. Your other option, of course, is to stay with the straight hips and give the legs more symmetry to maintain her balance :)

That's cool :] She is a padding kind of girl, but it's great to be able to see where you'd put the legs and she looks loads more balanced like that... I will keep it in mind while I work on this more! :D

Yeah I thought about it afterwards that you would probably have to put a little more curves on her, but I'm glad if it's of any help at all :)
