Chapter 16
The sudden wind of change hit the two females, both stopped mid jump, grabbing hold of the nearest branch they land underneath it. Shocked by the strange vibe that passed over their bodies they flip upright onto the branch
Carlene: sister…did you sense that…
Sashi: yes…a dark presence is near….
Carlene: Should we warn Silver?
Sashi: no…I think he already knows…a power that strong he has to have sensed long before us.
The two continue on now more alert then before, they proceed near a clearing the power originated. As they neared, the dark vibe became a chill as both nearly lost focus more then once before landing only a few feet from the shrubbery. As they entered, they found the clearing to be filled with life.
Carlene: something is not right…. this area was always shrouded by the trees, and this ground, no Blossoms of the toxin bloom…something has been here.
???: Indeed someone is
A female drew herself from the foliage across from the two. Sashi, as her kind did, quickly drew her blade. Carlene unlinked her own, her kind lived by the sword, but showed honour, she didn’t draw until the time was needed to.
Carlene: who are you?
The raccoon demaned
???: I am not your concern, I seek Runnic…and I will destroy anyone who stands in my way
Immediately Carlene drew her blade, the Katana was longer then Sashi’s but that didn’t matter as they two got ready
Sashi: we won’t let you hurt him
Carlene: With our last breath we will make sure Runnic will not be harmed by your blade.
???: then you both will become nothing.
Just then someone speeds out and lands between the 2 girls and the demon woman who sword was like a fang blade.
Carlene&Sashi: FELICA?
Felica: you 2 go on ahead I’ll hold this one.
???: …you will Not!
The 2 begin to fight but Carlene and Sashi wanted to help but knew they had to hurry and started to move it hoping they not be too late to save Runnic.
Chapter 16
