I love jumpers. We only have the fuzzy kind around here. I've managed to get my wife to stop automatically killing spiders, though when the one on the front porch (an orb weaver, not a jumper) caught a barn swallow, we had to draw the line. I like spiders, but barn swallows are the ONLY control we have on the fly population, and don't breed nearly as fast. (I was able to rescue the swallow and clean all the web off of it. The spider had NO idea what to do with something that big, and was cowering at the opposite end of her web)
