I am honored to be the one to contribute artwork to this years Further Confusion Dance Competition 2012! This is the final banner that I have just finished, there is a previous one out there without as much detail as it was the preview. I do hope it isn't too late for this final version :)

I wanted an image that showed the energy, expression, and love we all have as dancers out there on that dance floor! And yay, GLOW! :)

I also came up with the FCDC logo concept.

This year's FCDC is right around the corner! now slots are still open but i am expecting a lot of last minute sign ups so please send me an email so i can get a head count. as you can see there are 16 choreography slots and 8 freestyles so there is a limited space but there is 24 dancers showing! there will be tryouts during the first nights FC during the dance on Thursday (right after the opening ceremonies) so if you are going to the dance come down in suit and do the tryouts (be sure to bring your music or we'll just provide something for you.) this is held in a separate room during the dance so duck out of the dance for a few min to fill out the signup forms then your dance to show the judges there! it will be open for 2 hours from the start of the dance so! for people unavailable on Thursday night i will open a Friday morning block for one hour (around 10 am) for tryouts again. if you get accepted into the competition you must be at rehearsal or else i will kick the invitation to the next person in line. i will have to be strict as FC has not allowed much time for the competition 1.5 hours vs normally a 2 hour event so there is a time constraint! so show up to the preliminaries/try outs and if accepted to the rehearsal or i will have to kick you out. sorry but them's the breaks.
please try to arrive on Thursday night it's during the dance in the hotel so (and if you are there no reason to just go to the dance during or after the tryouts! be sure to be in suit!), it makes everyone life easier! and bring your music! and again remember you're here to have fun so put your heart and soul into the dance and i guarantee you'll have lot's of fun!


Choreography (60 min)
Rules:
Time Limit 1:30-1:45~ (+- 10 seconds)
Has to have fursuit (partial okay)
Need to provide own music (mp3 or CD)
Music Pre-edited if not will be stopped at time limit
Music Cues needing provided
NO Light Cues
Introduction form
Must come to preliminaries to qualify
Must come to rehearsal
If entering both free style and Choreography division and qualifies for both must give up one or the other to the next person
Waiting list for if people don't show
Preliminaries/try outs must be in suit!

16 Acts Hard locked

Free Styling (30 min
Time Limit for each 1v1 is 1:30~except finals/semi finals 2:30-3:00
Both dancers on the floor at once; one winner
Scoring is best out of 3 from the judges (they have panels with the dancers name on it)
ability to dance in any genre and style of music (I mean anything)
Must be in Fursuit (partial okay)
Must come to preliminaries to qualify
Must come to rehearsal
