Oscar bought me dices, I drew him art!
This is Aster Valmo, a techpriest from the 40k universe.
He's AllowedCamping's character, in more detail, his very first DH character.
I never saw this character alive in the games, I obviously came into the group too late XD

That's unlikely since this is the first time this very certain character has been drawn.
In the 40k universe there are tons of techpriests (which is what this is), techpriest's wear the same red cape and the black/white skull symbol (somewhere) and they always have most of their body made out of machinery - such as bionic arms, face completely masked with a breath system, they often also have 'tentacle weapons' or other useful things coming from their back (most common is probably servo arm, which this character actually doesn't have). Goggle '40k techpriest' and you'll see more :3

Well - prettymuch everysingle techpriest has a gasmask metal face and they always have the red hood/robes with the certain white decoration =P
The thing that separates them usually is: eye colour, amount of eyes, what are their bionics like, what kind of machine tentacles, how the robes are on... XD

We tried that. Enthusiasm died when we had hours of debates whether or not its smart to go alone up against ~30 ships of equal strength - despite the Rogue Trader (and rest of the retinue, and the GM) repeatedly saying "No, it's not. Let's move on, please". S'why a good group is important, and I'm going to try it again soon-ish.
DH never lost the "let's go kick some heretic butt, with style" feeling. Fun times.

didn't get my hands on BC yet. However I am content with my explorer - and with my mate being our Voidmaster and helmsman (or helmswoman in her case) Our navigators seem not to last very long though as we have to make do with NPCs on that part - and the GM keeps rolling crap. we happened to have three of em roasted during just one session. Well and I am currently thinking of how to tweak the genes of our crew. Genetor is awesome.
Oh and guess what - my mate's character is more cat than human *grins* agility of 70+, dodge and all the good stuff.
I for one have to roll against 114 when doing tech-use checks *chuckles*

Ah, but I'm sure theres people over canada who like 40k stuff too, you just gotta find them x3
Also, Dark Heresy is very different from DnD, it uses a different stat and roll system and the game is more open and has lots of possibilities for RPing with different personalities.
