The colour of magic... I recall that was the very first book of the Discworld series by Terry Pratchett.
But that's beside the point. It seems to me that you're experimenting with a new style here. That's cool. These characters are both looking very sexy and the story seems interesting. =)

Have you read Good Omens by Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman by any chance? Something about this picture reminds me of that book as well. I think it's because of the pretty mundane-looking road and the visible presence of powers that look like they're quite out of this world. =)
