The Terror Mine has the most amazing view of the town of Eldora. The downside of course is that it's more exposed to the wind coming off the Indian Peaks and the divide. They've restored the mining cart track as you can see. The tailings on Spencer are yellow because of the sulfur in the ore. If you look very closely you can see the tops of Longs Peak, all the way in Estes Park on the horizon (gray and flat topped over on the left horizon). My figuring form Google Maps is that it's almost exactly 20 miles from where this photo was taken.
