Slanted front armor suggests that you will prefer ranged combat from frontal attackers. It seems very familiar to those of the Imperial Fleet of the Warhammer 40K world.

In that world it is considered that the most powerful cannons must be placed on the bow of their ships, due to the fact that only the ships engines could possibly deal with the canons recoil. From there they mount several guns on their flanks to deal with ship to ship engagements. It is very much like the ideas of naval warfare, except in space. You ship does not look thick enough to hold suck firepower on it's side armor. The fins on the top and bottom are very artistic and remind me of sails or a dolphins fin. the only problem is there is noting to sail on in space. They just become targets for insurgent fighters or sniper cruisers. (Small, precision based, frigates, armed with massive cannons made for sabotaging Juggernaut classed warships)
From there I will look farther back. Your side panels I would suspect are for shielding the ships hull. It possibly is also for generating a reflector field of some sort? No matter, If you watch the starwars cartoon show (Will never be mentioned ever again), or Battle Star Galactica, then you would understand that a small bomber can sneak into loos parts of a large ship and destroy vital parts of the ship.
Now to the part that frightens me the most is the norther sail. I do not know if it is the ships bridge or the radio tower. Have you ever seen Starship Troopers #1? (the two and three do not exist) If so, nuf said. What happened was a ship was not able to out maneuver a asteroid and lost communication to earth.
The ship is very imaginative, but I would never field a ship of that sort in a fleet I would ever design. In a digital world though. Plenty of space to mount whatever you like. Looks like something on EVE... But that is for anther time.

I can handle a little criticism...but this is not only still a work in progress, and isn't even half finished, but your feedback is...a bit too much my friend. This is science fiction. Not real life.
There are reasons for every part of this ship, and they will be revealed when the ship is finished. Feel free to give this kind of feedback for when this project is done, or mostly done. Right now, I'd just enjoy the fact I got back into 3D modeling.

I apologies. It was rude of me to be a critic.
The bottom tail of your ship that I said looked like a sail. It could be a solar sail. They help with navigation of ships in high radiation fields. Since some devices are not able to withstand the blunt force generated from the sun or the center of the galaxy, a solar sail would be able to absorb the energies from these entities, and help ships with their bearing.
Sorry about that. I have been watching too much Eve and the Battle Fleet Gothic mod. Nothing personal.
What game is this for again?
