Aya: Is it you "Kuwolf Ota" ?

*Ota salutes*

Ota: Yes sir, it's me, Liutenant Kuwolf Ota.

Aya: I'm "Wolfess Aya", of the research and development section of this base, i'm been told of your "unnaturally high" scores in both simulations and real battles against the alien invaders, and judging from what i just saw i can confirm that it's true, your skills overwhelm even veteran pilots for at least a 400% rate.

Ota: I'm nothing special sir, really.

Aya: Please don't call me sir, tecnicians, developers and researchers don't have military ranks and aren't considered as military personell eighter.
Anyway, we are looking for somebody "special", somebody different from the usual pilots, somebody with your skills.

Ota: I don't think to understand, i'm not different from the usual pilots, i just have some higher score because i'm used to machines and battlemechs since always, and that's it... i think.

Aya: That's more than enough, we would like to make you an offer.

Ota: An offer ? What kind of ?

*Aya takes an holoprojector from the pocket of her lab-coat and turns it on, showing the schematics of a battlemech*

Aya: We would like you to be the pilot of this, the "Aperion", a kind of battlemech as noone else, you can say it's an unique one. And being unique, we can't give it to just any pilot we find, nobody can be trained for it, and nobody can learn how to drive it

Ota: It sounds a bit confusing

Aya: Don't worry, basically we never found a proper pilot for it because it requires somebody that doesen't think like a robot "acting just because trained to do so", it needs somebody... that "feels" and has a kind of sixth sense, something like your skill

Ota: I still don't understand why this thing is so special

Aya: You'll understand, as soon as you'll step into it's cockpit. So, what do you think ? Do you want to try ?

Ota: Maybe... after all a test run wouldn't hurt...

Aya: That's good to hear, we'll send the proper "equipment" to your cabin and let you know when to come over, we'll plan a proper date for the tests.

Small introduction to the picture, something i made to "experiment and learn".
The theme of the picture is "Aya and Ota IF the story would been different", and as different i mean more "Gundam" like instead of a "super robot" like.

And as side note, yes, my english sucks :P
