Which is why I have never fooled around with a snapper, why I was careful in handling a big turtle I found in the woods (and he did offer to bite me !), and why the turtle at work who grew from petstore size to almost a foot, I never handle.
He does not like people and I was afraid he'd bite me and try to stumble off.
