I have a massive sense of humor! Most folk never find out partly due to my depression and the lack of someone getting to do things with me (as friends)! Their loss!
Personally I thought with city hall and similar places being "public" that as long as you don't go inside (security issues), it would be ok to fursuit on the grounds but this reminds me I really should let them know just so the folks know when I'm taking photos there. I hope to do someday as I have few ideas where to go and take pictures that I can be allowed to go w/o trouble due to lack of a handler.

I used to go to the BIG mall with my fursuit Pinx alone without asking.I went quite a few times before they wondered what I was doing.They asked me to leave.But they where nice about it.I loved fursuiting SO much alone.Its best to have a handler.But I did just fine.I once got in trouble because I went into a roped off area.I wanted to get some intresting pictures.I was really scared they where gong to call the police.But I appoligised and left.I wont evr do that again.I try to be more carefull now.
It's pretty much a strong rule to ask permission of any business before fursuiting as wearing a full face mask can be a cause for alarm. And in this paranoid part of the states, there have been armed robberies done by full face masked robbers which is making the retail employees nervous to see a masked person now.
But so long as you have permission, including going behind a roped off area with permission, it'll be ok just so long as they know, including looking for a security guard in the immediate area to let them know too before suiting up or putting on the head.
Unfortunately for my situation fursuiting alone, because of my communication problems from my being so very hard of hearing, there will be lots of problems probably leading to severe ones if I fursuit without a handler. So I have to limit where and when I fursuit to areas with few people until I get a handler.
I have a lot of skills that compensate for my hearing problems in fursuiting, but it still risks causing a big problem because I don't hear well. Just so you know.
