This is a depiction of the stained glass window that was directly above and to the right of the piano on the north wall of the chapel at La Casa De Maria in Montecito, California, where I recently spent six days on a Tai Chi Retreat.
Somehow I stopped playing that piano long enough to sketch this in pencil while sitting against the wall across the chapel from it! Then I wrote down all the colours of the panes separately in a way so I could remember which ones were which. That way I didn't have notes ruining the original sketch.
