Our lives are like light bulbs.
Sometimes we shine
and sometimes don't

Some light bulbs are broken
those are unfortunate left in darkness to wander
forever looking for the light they had

Some light bulbs shine too bright
they blind and push other bulbs away
forever looking for another light to shine for them

Some light bulbs shine perfectly
they fluctuate but remain beautiful
forever leading their own, and other's way through the darkness

Some light bulbs glow
they dim themselves behind other bulbs
forever following others through the darkness

But i grow tired of following others and becoming dim enough to break

I must be my own light
