Apologies for the less-than-stellar photo. I built these two last night, from various Space Marine parts and also WHFB Lizardmen parts. The Lizardmen parts are limited to the bodies and heads of 2 Saurus Warriors. I had to clip off the bodies near the waist, as the bodies come in one piece from tail to neck, though one leg is separate.
They've not been painted or primed yet, just built.
Both are intended to be Pounceys. The one on the left is equipped with a powerfist and stormbolter, and I intend to use her as either a Captain or Sergeant, depending on circumstances. The one on the right is equipped with a force staff and bolt pistol, and I intend to use her as a Librarian.
I'm not so wild as to how top-heavy they are, but then I remember that having Astartes armor over their chests and arms, but not their lower bodies, will unbalance them a little. Initially I was going to use Marine legs instead of Lizardmen legs, and replace feet and add tails, but I figured it would be easier this way - and it was.
It's gotten me interested in buying a box or two of Sisters of Battle, when the plastics eventually are released, and also a box of Saurus Warriors, and doing some more conversions like this.
If it weren't so windy and cold, I may have ended up priming these today.
Oh, and the models and photo belong to me. WH40k and all its related stuff belongs to Games Workshop.
