D. Dan has a father by whom, being a high ranking lord and general, dislikes the word 'No'. As such, he does not take no for an answer from the men in his squad among others. He takes this idea in many facets of his life including his family and household, both by which he runs like a tight ship. ^\/^.
Even asking something as simple as his son to clean his room would not be taken lightly if replied with a 'No'. If asking does not work, and with the idea of never having to order his son, he makes his point clear.
An example, as shown in the picture, Lord Dan makes his disappointment clear by swift kicking his son to the ground and immediately follows this, in mere nanoseconds, with a summoned 12 foot long Zweihänder to the neck.
The Zweihänder is a mixed style sword that has a fuller style lenticular blade, short heavy guard in the style of a crossguard or quillons, leather multifaceted grip in the style of a samurai blade's hilt and a pommel to match said grip with shape that smoothly integrates into the grip.
Lord Dan is wearing an everyday military uniform of the order of knights that he commands. It has a side cape that has a rounded end to it and folds easily. The patch on his right arm has a crown and five stars indicating his rank as one of the few highest ranking knights. The order of knights that he commands specifically protects the populace from and hunts monsters, demons, devils, evil beings and other similar foul creatures.
D. Dan, being in the same order of knights as his father, has the unusual situation of having a father who is also the supreme commander. His father, who in no way plays favorites, makes a point that he will not go easy on D. Dan even though he is his only son. To do this, Lord Dan generally raises the bar on any quest or job his son performs and rates his performance and ratings with more scrutiny and less forgiveness than anyone else in the order of knights.
Though this may seem unkind and indifferent in some way, but, in actuality, raising the bar in such a way has made D. Dan a much better knight in a relatively short time. It is also due to this high leveling that D. Dan is already achieved the rank of a Lieutenant at a younger age than most. In fact, out of all the orders of knights in the city, D. Dan currently holds the record of youngest person to ever reach said rank.
As grateful as D. Dan is to his father Lord Dan, he still likes to try his patience and, at home and off work, have the audacity to say 'No' to his father when the occasion arrives. Though Lord Dan praises bravery, audacity and other similar actions, he, being a high ranking official, must still put his foot down. LOL. ^\/^.
