Rocket is a semi feral cat, abandoned and on the streets for about two years after his former owners moved away and just left him to fend for himself. He is also declawed. He's missing half of his right ear, most likely had a run in with another cat while he was on the streets. A nice woman was setting food out for him for a while, however was unable to catch him because he was so fearful. Our friend that helped to catch him gave us a special two level high cat cage for him so he has a "safe place" while he gets used to his surroundings. He was actually terrified the first several days. it's been so long since he's had any human contact, and who knows what his original owners were like...they clearly didn't care much for him if they would just move away leaving him to fend for himself, declawed and everything. He's doing better slowly, he gets pet and talked to softly several times a day. It's a work in progress, but he's not aggressive or overly feral, just withdrawn. This is him in the top perch of his cat tower. We're unsure of his mix, we think he's a birman and/or siamese mix. He has white paws.
