This is a Prelude/Intro to a song.
Back story:
The R&B group I play for are recording 2 original tracks and as we're recording the 2nd original track I said "Hey we should come up with a prelude for this song" so the keyboardist of the group agreed and played the chord progression at a slower tempo.
Got the progression down in 15 minutes
I picked the sounds (Strings,Pads,EFX,etc) when I got home and layed down the cymbal swells and shaker sounds the next morning.
