My first art of the new year, and it's not that long after the new year!

I was at work the other day and looking out the window I became distracted by the hills as they were obscured by the thin fog that was loitering about that day. I noticed how the trees seemed to be in layers, sort of like the background to an SNES platformer (it's me, of course it's in video game terms!), with the more distant layers lighter and more obscured than the closer. I decided to take a stab at putting this from my recent memory onto virtual canvas. It's relatively successful. I may use this as a new smartphone wallpaper.
