As a note, this is also a really good example as to the effect colored contact lenses have when paired with this kind of mask. It really brightens and draws attention to the eyes.

This! I usually always think in the back of my mind (omg..that head would look SOOO much better if it had toony or even taxidermy eyes!)
Usually in my opinion, the bland natural look of human eyes paired with the bright colorful and fantasy look of the mask throws me off so much. The fact that the eyes here are bright and stand out really help complete the mask instead of making it look awkwardly unfinished and...dare I say...creepy! Haha
Awesome work :3 also love that you and the wearer used brown around the eyes instead or the generic black. I think the black is just so over powering with the small human eyes! Brown allows you to see some definition in the lid!
