To help bust in the new year I felt I needed to do something really great for all the local furry friends I've been hanging out with for the past 3 years. They've been so great to me and I've made wonderful memories, I couldn't just let another year go by without proper thanks!
So the week before new year's eve this little idea was formed... Sadly I wasn't able to really work on it till the day before New Year's eve XD I spent a good 18 hours on this drawing straight (more like 15 if you count breaks, food, etc).
If I had more time, there would be much more detail XD but for what it is, I'm quite impressed with myself. The poses, the colors, the fact that I didn't kill myself trying to draw 16 characters all with their own specific details @.@
My brother said that I was acting quite funny during those last few hours. What it being around 6am that I was still working on it X3
I'm also quite happy that my group liked it ^^ I work at a printing store and have finally taken advantage of that, printing this guy out on a 4 by 1 foot long sheet of paper, then lamenting it, dry mounting it on foam board, then framing it with plastic colored frame clips (with hooks on the back).
It came out fantastic! My co-workers even really liked it (only one of them even had an inkling of what furry was XP so that was fun explaining the "good" side of furries. Thankfully no one had harsh pre-judgements. )
But most importantly my friends loved it. I'm so happy it makes that whole day plus working on it and only 2 hours of sleep after worth it <3
I love all you guys in the North Central Florida Furs! And to all of you not in the poster here's a shout out to you as well! You're all pretty freaking awesome x3 (I just didn't have the time, money, space, or references needed to draw all 1 thousand of you XP so regulars and locals to the gainesville area were the first to be chosen)
