This is one of the reasons I don't want to become a large animal vet.
When I was trying to measure the heart rate, the cow decided to eat. All I heard was CHOMP CHOMP MUNCH MUNCH OM NOM NOM GULP.
When I was concentrating on finding the heart sound, the cow next to me decided to get close.....very close.... for some reason.
And then suddenly, Tiger Cow sandwich.
In reality, I moved out in time. However that wouldn't be funny if I draw that in a comic, right?
PS.
See the thing that looked like mud?
it's not mud.

Ha, I could hardly care about a dirty finger. My whole body was already covered in......mud-like thing. (It's not mud.)
Also, it won't work for too long, considering that what a vet does to cows are sometimes painful.
And I don't think they meant to hit me. I was just happen to be in their way.
Thank you. XD

Interesting, I have the exact opposite thought.
But in my case, I believe it has to do with experience. I have been in the company of cows and bulls all my life, but only limited time with horses. I find cows and bulls easy to interpret and easy to understand. I always know what they are going to do, before they do it.
Horses, on the other hand, seem to me as unpredictable, because I don't understand their body language enough to know what they are going to do.
By the way, I really like the picture, it is great!
