Jay did this picture originally featuring himself holding an Enfield rifle, but kept going. Eventually he asked if I'd like to get in on it, and I said sure. So this is how we might've known each other 93 years ago.
The "1" patch on my backpack strap is the US military's marksmanship patch for the time. Because I'm a hawk. ;P

The SMLE's are a bit too short (their bayonets are too short too), and the bolt actions on the rifles aren't fully correct (should be fully curved bolts etc). Insignia for marksman and that arrow badge also would go on the shoulder or cuff, not on the webbing. :P Also, as mentioned above, the guy looking over the parapet would be total sniper bait :P
Total nitpicks though, all in all, it's very nice to see historical work on FA ^.=.^

Yes, I understood that :P The rank insignia is all correct (if both are intended to be Corporals). I was referring to the two patches that are placed on the webbing strap on your char's right shoulder, the arrow head and 1. The marksmanship badge would go on the left cuff, just above the wrist, and the other patch, if unit insignia, could go on each shoulder, in the same place the canadian unit titles are placed on their shoulders.
