Took a couple of days to figure out the design I wanted for this.

The mourning net comes from Eija's bat tribe. It is made in tribute to a dead loved one, and placed over their grave.

This is the net Eija's mother (a bat) made for his father (a salamander). In the (off x.x) center is a ruby (the father's birth stone). The others are a blue and white stone, two red stones, and a couple of shells. I'm debating on whether or not to add in a feather or two.

When Eija's mother died, he knew that the forbidden love his parents had shared would be a welcome memory to forget among his tribe. He visits his father's grave one last time before banishment unless needed (a deal he made with the new leader of the tribe after learning a bit about his necromancy [he wasn't supposed to come back after the first ousting]). He wears it on his tail, just under the membrane. Since his mother's essence is embedded into the net, it will help him with his own powers.
