Happy new year's and holidays, to one and all!
When I first heard that
kitsunezero had finally returned after a long six year hiatus, I was ecstatic. He has a special place in my heart, and I'll tell you why:
Back in 2004, when I discovered DeviantART and the artistic treasures within, I came across Kitsune Zero's art. His slick, streamlined style, interests, beautiful colors and contours, expansion art and furry art was what may have been my sort of "gateway drug" into the furry fandom. Parts of his style were assimilated into my own style, further diversifying it, along with those of many artists that I have found in future searching, including masters like Hoodah, Kazecat and a few others.
When his activity/gallery severely decreased, along with the frequent, brutal and threatening spam he got from a very disturbed spammer, I became genuinely concerned that he was being stalked by some sort of mental case. I was afraid that he went into hiding because a lunatic was after his life. Not to mention disappointed after he seemed to have committed e-suicide.
But six years later, he has returned to the fandom along with his talents, welcomed with open arms as you see here. Kitsune Zero is my personal symbol of all that is cool and awesome in the furry fandom (not to mention more innocent times when 4Chan, internet drama and ED were completely unknown to me), and his return, as crazy as it may sound, I take as a sign that things are gonna turn out all right in the end.
So yeah. There's my fanboy-ish speech. ^w^; Now...Is someone going to put that out?

Wow
I'm speechless. This is pretty epic, thank you! I'm happy my art influenced you in a positive way.
Though the spammer wasn't the reason I disappeared. He actually quit bugging me way before I called it quits. It was a bunch of stuff that made me wanna leave. It's all in the past now. I'm back for good!

Crowd shots are never easy to do, I can't do them myself..its a lot of work and I really appreciate all the trouble you went through to do this. :)
As for Hoodah, he's his own person. I'm not gonna twist his arm to come back. It's his decision. He left the art scene for very different reasons than I did. I don't wanna say anything on his behalf because even I don't know what his plans are in terms of coming back to FA.

I understand, but...he was one of the very best artists among us, you know? I know he's his own person with his own life, but he made us happy. And we all have to benefit the greater good, right? He could send a .zip file of his work...
...But until then, if ever, I guess I'm gonna have to be his successor then, huh?
