When I decided to do this, I thought it would be easy. Then I realised exactly how much stuff I'd done this year ^^
And how much unfocused bouncing around I did T^T
January:
The month I designed and drew Tink's Mechanic Suit, which I still like very much, both artistically and design-wise. Also the month I started my comic Thousandeye Productions, believing that it would be more successful in both its reception and in its continuacy if it came in with the new year. Needless to say, that didn't happen.
February:
The month I came up with the idea and design for my omoneko race and series. Still a favorite species of mine, both conceptually and visually.
March:
Omoneko, generation 2!
April:
This month I went on another design spree, with my painting, Tamashiwa Kyobei, which is probably written entirely wrong, my plasma arm concept, and my first pen drawn art, the Xenogon. This was an important piece, at least to me, because it helped define my style, and gave me a style to draw that could actually impress people. :P
May:
Omoneko generation 3! Started giving omoneko additional poses, as well as actually colouring their fur instead of running it through a transparent colour layer. Ew.
June and July:
It was summer. I derped.
August:
After doing a conceptual drawing of a Veinoc female, I decided it was a good time to draw the other females of my races, for no reason other than they hadn't been drawn before, and I wanted to practise female anatomy. Which, in hindsight, was horrible, and I'll likely have to redraw at a later date.
Sempember:
Finished up my Racial Female series, as well as drew my picture Waiting for Someone Special [who never showed]. Which is an ironic piece, seeing as its only just begun snowing here. I have no idea what I was thinking back in September :/
Also started college this month yay
October:
I drew my creature concept pack for my STILL unnamed dragonbatshark in this month. I also started my series of streaming art lessons and personal work, with mixed results. Also created my homework piece, The War of Dark and Light, which I still like a little, but not as much as its replacement, Big Bang Jr. I also contacted
Aryn_Dreamslayer about the Shlealin species, and got one of my own. Props to them for an awesome species.
More importantly, got my first ever commission, a couples icon, which seemed to be recieved quite well. Hopefully I can get more in the future.
November:
Honestly didn't do almost anything this month, because I was tied up so much with college work. I did manage to throw down this concept of a bat [anthro?], which I'm slowly working on developing into a character.
December:
Yet again, only managed to get a couple things I was proud of this month. Both my Comp & Colour final and my Perspective final, which I'm quite proud of. Hopefully I can improve again after this upcoming semester.
Total counts for this year:
Pageviews: 730-239 =491
Watchers: 32-9 =23
Submissions: 96-36 =60
Favorites: 145-44 =101
